A successful bracing program relies on trained, dedicated staff. Ancillary Advantage recruits directly from the National Athletic Trainers Association’s career centers and we hire only the best professionals, many of whom are Certified Athletic Trainers. Once on board, put them through a comprehensive training program of our own, covering such topics as inventory control, payer compliance and clinical documentation. With Ancillary Advantage, your DME staff is 100% effective on day one in your practice.
And we don’t stop at day one. All of our DME Coordinators participate in on-going continuing education programs, including receiving education and training on new products and new protocols. With an Ancillary-trained DME Coordinator on staff, we ensure your program keeps running smoothly and profitably.
Having an on-site DME program and coordinator helps us to save time in our clinics and provides convenience to our patients. Patients avoid having to stop at another facility for their equipment and are advised on the proper use and care instructions on-site. Having a representative on-site also takes the hassle out of us (the physicians) and our staff dealing with insurance authorizations and the additional administrative duties involved. Since we’re not manufacturers, we’re able to supply unbiased product advice. In fact, we work with more manufacturers than any other ancillary products provider. We can even work with your existing manufacturers and sales reps, as well as with your current stock and bill program.
And, we sell our products to you at our acquisition cost. If you are able to get a better price, let us know and we’ll load in your vendor contract.
Finally, we manage the entire process for you - purchasing, inventory, product training and vendor management. So no matter how many different manufacturers you choose to work with, you have one point of contact to manage. And only one invoice to pay.

MyAncillary
Take Control Of Your Practice
MyAncillary, our DME practice management system, was developed by us specifically to work in an orthopaedic environment managing the full scope of a bracing program. MyAncillary manages organizations for one to over one hundred providers.
Besides product ordering and inventory management, MyAncillary includes an interactive payer module that proactively identifies compliance, pre-certification and do-not-dispense requirements so that you are paid for all products dispensed.
MyAncillary can be integrated with your practice management system or EMR via HL7. This eliminates duplicate data entry and ensures both systems are in sync. We also provide a patient portal and electronic document system to virtually eliminate the need for printed paperwork. These features support the requirements of Medicare’s Meaningful Use guidelines.
Just like with your DME program, one size does not fit all. Ancillary Advantage owns, operates and maintains MyAncillary. This means if you want a modification to the program, we can make it happen quickly and generally at no cost to you. And when you have a question or need assistance, we have a team dedicated to providing this support.
